5. Google User Data and Gmail API
LynkToday uses the Google Gmail API to send transactional emails from the authorized LynkToday business Gmail account.
The Google API permission requested by LynkToday is:

This permission allows LynkToday to send emails on behalf of the authorized Gmail account.
LynkToday uses this permission for user-facing transactional functionality, including:
- Email verification OTPs
- Password reset OTPs
- Other necessary account and security related transactional emails
LynkToday does not use the Gmail API to read, search, modify or delete emails in the authorized Gmail mailbox.
LynkToday does not request access to Gmail mailbox contents beyond what is necessary to send transactional emails.
LynkToday's use of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing and improving the user-facing functionality described in this Privacy Policy and is consistent with the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements.
LynkToday does not sell Google user data, use Google user data for targeted advertising, or use Google user data for creditworthiness, lending or similar purposes.
LynkToday does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
6. Google Data Sharing, Transfer and Disclosure
LynkToday does not sell Google user data or transfer it to data brokers, advertisers or information resellers.
Google user data accessed through the Gmail API is used only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and to provide the requested email functionality.
LynkToday may use trusted infrastructure and service providers necessary to operate the platform, such as hosting, database, authentication and security providers. Such providers may process information only as necessary to provide services to LynkToday and are expected to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality protections.

7. Google OAuth Credentials and Security
When Gmail API authorization is used, LynkToday may securely maintain OAuth credentials necessary to continue authorized Gmail sending functionality.
OAuth credentials are maintained on the server side and are not intentionally exposed to ordinary LynkToday users through the application interface.
LynkToday uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect OAuth credentials against unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or misuse.
LynkToday does not store or request your Google Account password.
8. User Content
Content that you voluntarily publish on LynkToday, such as posts, comments and documentation, may be visible to other users depending on the applicable visibility settings.
Please avoid publishing confidential, sensitive or proprietary information that you do not want to make available to other users.
9. Images and File Uploads
Image and file uploads are currently not available in the present version of LynkToday.
File and image upload functionality may be introduced in a future version. If introduced, this Privacy Policy may be updated to explain how those files are handled.
10. Cookies and Local Storage
LynkToday may use browser storage mechanisms, cookies or similar technologies to maintain authentication, preferences, security and other functionality required for the platform to operate.
These technologies may also be used to maintain session information and improve the reliability and security of the service.

Sensitive credentials, including OAuth credentials used for Gmail API access, are intended to be maintained securely on server-side systems and are not exposed through the normal user interface.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Users should also take reasonable steps to protect their account credentials and devices.
13. Data Retention
LynkToday retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services described in this Privacy Policy, maintain user accounts, protect platform security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Account information may therefore be retained while your LynkToday account remains active or for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Google user data accessed through the Gmail API is not used to create a separate database of Gmail mailbox contents. LynkToday does not read or store users' Gmail mailbox messages through the Gmail API.
OAuth credentials required for authorized Gmail sending are retained only for as long as they are necessary to provide the authorized functionality, subject to security, legal and operational requirements.
When information is no longer required for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, LynkToday will take reasonable steps to delete or securely dispose of it, subject to any retention required or permitted by applicable law.
14. Data Deletion and User Requests
You may request deletion of your LynkToday account and associated personal information by contacting us at:

When you request deletion, we will review the request and take reasonable steps to delete personal information associated with your account, subject to information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention or other legitimate obligations.
If you have authorized LynkToday to access Google services, you may also revoke the application's Google authorization through your Google Account settings.
Revoking Google authorization prevents LynkToday from continuing to use the authorized Google API access unless you authorize it again.
15. Your Choices
You may review and update certain information through your LynkToday account and profile settings.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account by contacting LynkToday.
You may also revoke Google authorization when you no longer want LynkToday to have the authorized Gmail API access.
16. Google API Services Limited Use
LynkToday's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app of Google or other third parties will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
LynkToday requests only the minimum Google API permission necessary for its Gmail transactional email functionality.
The Gmail API permission is used only to provide the user-facing email functionality described in this Privacy Policy.
17. Sale of Personal Information
LynkToday does not sell personal information or Google user data to advertisers, data brokers or information resellers.
LynkToday does not use Google user data for targeted advertising or retargeted advertising.
18. International Data Processing
Depending on the services and infrastructure used to operate LynkToday, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where you are located.
Where information is processed by third-party infrastructure or service providers, LynkToday expects appropriate security and privacy protections to be applied in accordance with applicable requirements.
